Public’s support in rally signaling BJP’s victory for LS Polls: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday said that the BJP has come to power by solving multiple problems, rather than staying in government by creating problems.
While addressing a gathering during the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in Dharmanagar on Tuesday, Dr Saha expressed that the residents of Dharmanagar are pleased with the Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan initiatives of PM Narendra Modi.
He believes that the evident happiness of the common people at the rally will undoubtedly strengthen PM Modi’s position in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls.
"We have come to power by solving multiple problems and not by creating problems; this is real good governance. With the determination to build a developed India and the development guarantee of Modiji, the people's enthusiasm was visible in the public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Dharmanagar. The way people are attending the BJP’s rally shows the victory in Lok Sabha election,” he remarked.
Dr Saha highlighted that the BJP-IPFT government, established in the state in 2018, gained public support. Subsequently, the BJP secured victories in almost all three-tier Panchayat, Municipal Bodies, and Nagar Panchayat elections, except for a few seats.
"In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidates won both seats, creating history. Despite opposition claims of forming a government, they failed. Even in Communist strongholds like Boxanagar, BJP candidates won by more than 30,000 votes. Recently, BJP has won in three states with significant votes. However, they anticipate a different outcome in the Lok Sabha. Corruption is the main mantra of Congress. The people of the state have realized that Congress cannot be trusted anymore," he asserted.
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing towards development. India is now regarded as one of the best countries globally. This achievement is possible because of the capable leadership of the Prime Minister. Wherever the BJP is in government, there is transparency. The Prime Minister dedicates his time from morning to night to solving people's problems. The Tripura government is also working in the direction directed by the Prime Minister," Dr Saha affirmed.
He also highlighted that PM Modi initiated the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to deliver the flagship schemes of the government to the people.
BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, party vice-president Tapas Bhattacharya, Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Biswabandhu Sen, MLA Malina Debnath, North district president Bhabatosh Das and other top leaders of the party were present at the meeting.
