Saffron wave in Tripura as massive people support BJP’s rally: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Friday said that a wave of saffron is sweeping in Tripura as a huge number of people are coming out in support of the BJP during election campaign rallies which clearly indicate victory.
“People are with BJP in terms of development work. Because the BJP believes in the overall welfare of every human being. With that vision, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for the development of people of all sections, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. A wave of saffron is sweeping in Tripura as a huge number of people are coming out in support of BJP during election campaign rallies,” he said.
Dr Saha said this while participating in a massive bike rally organized at Santirbazar in South Tripura district on Friday in support of the BJP candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party is campaigning in support of the candidates every day. Even the Chief Minister is also campaigning every day in support of the two candidates.
On Friday, after the rally, Dr Saha said that this bike rally was held today across a 12/13 km road in support of the BJP candidate for the West Tripura constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
“We have received a great response in this election campaign from people. By witnessing the support of the people, what will be the result on June 4 can be said now. The campaign has seen great enthusiasm among the people. Wherever we go in the state during the election campaign, the spontaneous enthusiasm of the people is being witnessed. People are waiting to bless Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am sure that the BJP candidates will win both the seats with a huge margin,” he added.
Apart from the Chief Minister, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, MLA Pramod Reang, BJP secretary Devid Debbarma, and other leaders were present.
