Shreya Ghosal enthralled Agartala audience in Tourism Promo fest

Famous Bollywood playback singer Shreya Ghosal through enchanting performance enthralled the Agartala audience on Sunday during Tripura Tourism Promo-2024 musical night.

For a couple of days a wave of excitement already gripped the music lovers and on Sunday evening Vivekananda stadium witnessed huge crowds amidst huge security arrangements for crowd control and safety measures.

The famous Bollywood singer along with her team reached Agartala on Saturday evening for her maiden performance in Agartala.

As expected the show drew a record-breaking crowd as fans from all over the state gathered at the Vivekananda stadium to listen to the melody queen.

Earlier, on Sunday, a team of top police officials inspected the venue- Swami Vivekananda Maidan for final security arrangement.

The organizer- Tripura Tourism department has appealed to all with valid passes to enter the venue by 5 pm to avoid last minute rush and inside the stadium, audience entered through their valid passes, but thousands of more audience gathered in all roads near the stadium.

It may be recalled here that the 12 day event “Tourism Promo Fest 2024” finally came to an end with the grand programme of Melody queen Shreya Ghoshal at Vivekananda stadium. The entire event was organised by the Department of Tourism. The atmosphere was absolutely electric and there were more than 30,000 people who entered the stadium while few thousands were present outside the stadium. Apart from this there were different programmes which were organised during the last 12 days and the first programme was organised in Narikel Kunja on the banks of Dumboor lake at  Dhalai district on 3rd December, 2024. The closing ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chaudhury along with other dignitaries and officials.

On the other hand the singing sensation of the state Sourabhee Debbarma and various other local artists performed in this programme at Astabal ground (Swami Vivekananda stadium). There were some programmes which were presented by the local artists of the state on this day. There were various adventure sports activities, Indigenous food festival, Traditional Costume Show, Musical concerts with different bands which were on show during the entire span of 12 days in the tourist places of the state.
