Sister spices launch ‘Sampurna’ cooking competition
A special cooking competition event named ‘Sampurna’ was organized by Sister spices at a hotel in Agartala on Friday.
Large numbers of food lovers from different parts of the state were present in the cooking event on Friday and the first phase of the event was launched on the occasion of International Women’s Day in 2023 by Sister Spices.
The first phase of the competition was conducted online with over 200 submissions of cooking videos by the women chefs from different parts of the state. A total of six outstanding semi-finalists were selected for the event. The objective was to empower and appreciate the cooking arts of all the women of Tripura.
Priyanka Majumder was selected as the winner as she satisfied the taste buds of some of the chefs of the state while Dr Teesta Saha and Sayantika Nathe were the runners up. The Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma was the Chief Guest in the event while there were some members of the Sister group who were also present in the programme. There was a cultural programme organized, where different kinds of folk songs, dance, games and quizzes were held in the programme. The atmosphere was electric while all the participants were excited to take part in this event and everyone wore a happy look as well.
