Teacher assaulted class-11 student at Bishalgarh, FIR lodged
In a brutal corporal punishment incident, a student of class-eleven lodged an FIR against his school teachers for assaulting him severally due to delayed arrival in the school.
Sources said that on Friday morning, a class-eleven student Sadek Miah arrived in the Bishalgarh English Medium School a few minutes’ later after beginning of class.
When Sadek Miah entered into his class room, immediately class teacher Samir Deb started hitting him with a stick and injured him severally. Sadek Miah has also suffered deep injuries near his face and other body parts.
Insulted, Sadek with pain and agony immediately rushed to the Bishalgarh police station with his few classmates and lodged an FIR against the accused teacher.
Later, a team of police also arrived at the school and met the headmaster to enquire about the incident.
Police sources said that they have registered the complaint and started investigation and have also suggested injured student to visit the hospital.
Meanwhile, school authorities refused to make any statement over the incident and are trying to resolve the issue with mutual understanding without taking any action against accused teacher.
