Three thieves arrested with stolen Apple phone
In a successful operation, Agartala city police on Sunday arrested three thieves and recovered a stolen I-phone under their possession.
Giving details, Additional SP (West Tripura) Dhruba Nath said that on February 20 last, one Uttara Nath, near MBB Club area under East Agartala police station lodged a complaint that one Apple smartphone (Iphone) has been stolen away by suspected thief from her beauty parlour ‘Uttara Beauty Parlour’.
Based on the complaint, police collected CCTV footage inside the parlour and nearby all footage of Smart City Mission.
Nath said that during analyzing all CCTV footage, police managed to identify that thief and Sunday managed to arrest the main accused Bhupal Biswas from Chandrapur area. Based on the interrogation statement of the arrested thief, police also arrested two more of his associates, identified as Deep Saha and Dipak Saha and recovered the stolen Apple phone under their possessions.
Nath added that the arrested trio will be produced before a local court with police remand appeals for further interrogation.
