Tipra Motha elects Runeil Debbarma as new CEM of TTAADC, Bhabha Ranjan Reang as Chairman

The Tipra Motha Party (TMP) on Monday finalised key leadership positions for the upcoming term of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) during a crucial meeting of its newly elected Members of the District Council (MDCs) held in Agartala.

During the meeting, the MDCs unanimously approved the proposed names for the top posts in the council. Bhabha Ranjan Reang was elected as the new Chairman of the ADC, while Runeil Debbarma was chosen as the new Chief Executive Member (CEM). C.K. Jamatia was elected as the Executive Member (EM) for the new council term.

The meeting was chaired virtually by TMP founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, who joined the proceedings through video conferencing.

Tripura Minister Brishaketu Debbarma, along with MLAs Ranjit Debbarma and Biswajit Kalai, also attended the meeting. They extended their best wishes to the Chairman- and CEM-elect and expressed confidence that the new leadership would continue the achievements of the previous council and further accelerate development and welfare initiatives across the TTAADC areas.

According to party sources, the formal election for the posts of Chairman and Chief Executive Member will be conducted on May 5 at the TTAADC Council Bhavan in Khumulwng. The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to be held on May 6 at the Nuai Auditorium Hall in Khumulwng.
