Tirthamukh Mela highlights Tripura’s rich cultural heritage & tradition: CM
Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday said that the present state government is tirelessly working for the social and economic development of the marginalized people, aiming to make Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura a reality through comprehensive development.
“Tirthamukh Poush Sankranti Mela stands on the faith and trust of the people. A fair symbolizes a gathering and bonding of people. This bond has strengthened our unity and solidarity,” said Dr Saha while inaugurating the ‘Tirthamukh Poush Sankranti Mela’ on Sunday.
Inaugurating the fair, Dr. Saha mentioned that Tirthamukh is a holy place, and people have been taking holy deep here since ancient times and said that the Tirthamukh Mela of Gomati district highlights the rich cultural heritage and tradition of the State.
“When people's faith is placed here, virtue is obtained. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The Prime Minister is working with determination to establish Ram Rajya in the country through the construction of Ram Mandir,” added Dr Saha.
Dr Saha further stated that the state government is dedicated to the social and economic development of marginalized people.
“Through the overall development of the state, Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura will be possible. The present government is committed to solving people's problems. The state government is working to provide modern services, including roads, mobile towers, and tourist accommodation in the Tirthmukh area,” he added.
During the program Janajati Kalyan Minister Bikas Debbarma, Cooperation Minister Shukla Charan Noatia, TTAADC EM Dolly Reang, Gomati District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma and others were present.
