Transparent policies benefiting common people, says CM

With motto of transparent policy, the present state government are working round the clock to protect the basic rights of common people by ensuring them all facilities of the government at their doorstep through “Prati Ghare Sushasan” (good governance in every house), said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.

Inaugurating number of projects including ST girls hostel, newly constructed PHC, library of Ambedkar College etc in Kumarghat on Tuesday, Dr Saha said that the democratic environment has prevailing in the state since formation of the present government and with transparent policies, government releasing jobs and declaring results including JRBT and nobody can raise finger on policies of government.

 Speaking in the programme, the Chief Minister after virtually laying the foundation stone of 5 schemes and inaugurating 50- bedded ST girls hostel at  Pecharthal  HS School , Dr Saha said, the government is committed to deliver government services and facilities to the people in a proper manner and the government has taken the initiative to create job opportunities with transparency.

 He said that some people are trying to disturb the prevailing peace in the state, but the government continuously working to protect democratic rights of the people.

Criticizing the policies of erstwhile Left Front governments, Dr Saha there was no transparent policy for government jobs and they suppressed the democratic rights of people, whereas the present government is working to protect the democratic rights of people.

 The government is working on empowering women and through  Self Help Groups (SHGs) women have become self-dependent in reality, said Saha and added that six more National Highways are being constructed in the state and Rs. 10, 222 crore rupees has been approved for 7 more National Highways. He reiterated that the state government is committed to building a drug-free Tripura and the government has taken many strict measures .

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the stadium and two-storied building of Pecharthal HS School, Pecharthal PHC, laid the foundation stone of Andharcherra to Budha Jharna road and Solonala to Baghaichara road.

Inaugurating a library of Ambedkar College, Dr Saha said that students must also involve themselves in creative activities besides academic studies. He said that college is like a temple and there is a deep relationship between the students and faculties of the college. He said that learning is an endless process and there is no age bar in learning.

Highlighting the quality education system adopted by the government, Dr Saha said that the education system of the state is now getting momentum and students of the state are getting more facilities for higher studies inside the state’s territory.

During these programmes, Ministers Bhagaban Chandra Das, Santana Chakma, MLA Sudhanshu Das, DM Dr. Bishal Kumar, District Superintendent of Police Kanta Jangir and other authorities were also present.
