Two Indian touts involved with many cases of infiltration arrested

Two Indian touts involved with many incidents of human trafficking, especially for Bangladeshi and Rohingyas were arrested by a joint team of BSF and Tripura police.
Based on specific information from a sister agency regarding the presence of two Indian touts in Indian Village Belabor located very close to the border fence under Amtali police station of West Tripura district, a joint operation of BSF and Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted at night .
Joint operation party detained two Indian touts from their houses. Both the apprehended touts are believed to be actively involved in facilitating illegal migration and human trafficking through Tripura with the active assistance of tout modules spread across Indo-Bangladesh border.
Later, police arrested touts were handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
BSF with the active assistance and coordination has intensified operations against the touts involved in facilitating illegal migration and other trans-border crimes.
