Unity ride powers through Ambassa to Bagbasa by Assam Rifles
Assam Rifles continued its Unity Ride – Bicycle Expedition on November 26, successfully completing the second leg of the journey from Ambassa to Bagbasa with enthusiasm and determination.
The day’s ride began at Ambassa, where the cyclists set off through the region’s picturesque terrain known for its rolling hills, dense forests and bamboo-covered slopes. The verdant surroundings and calming natural beauty served as strong motivation, energizing the team as they moved deeper into the lush landscapes of the Dhalai district.
As the expedition progressed toward Bagbasa, the scenery gradually transitioned into a serene hilly belt marked by forest stretches, open clearings, agricultural fields and rural habitations.
Despite the challenging terrain, the cyclists maintained high spirits and unwavering commitment throughout the journey. Covering 92 km in a single day, the team continued spreading the message of national unity, physical fitness and environmental awareness along the route.
Local residents along the way extended warm encouragement and support, reflecting strong community appreciation for the initiative.
The Unity Ride continues to strengthen the bond between security forces and citizens while paying a heartfelt tribute to the brave and innocent lives lost on 26/11.
