Wife kills her husband by stabbing
In a bizarre incident, one intoxicated couple after a brief brawl attacked each other, but in the heat of moment, wife stabbed her husband with a scissor and died on the spot on Saturday midnight at Manikgarh village under Sabroom police station of South Tripura district.
Police sources on Saturday midnight one Sanjib Roy (40) and his wife Jayanti Namo Roy after a boozing party inside their home started fighting and after a brief brawl, they attacked each other. But, the wife Jayanti Namo Roy attacked her husband with a cloth cutting scissor and stabbed him. As a result, Sanjob Roy died on the spot and his wife escaped from the crime scene.
Later, other inmates of the house noticed the incident and informed police. Police along with a forensic team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police on Sunday morning have also managed to arrest the accused wife and put her behind the bars.
