Young housewife’s body recovered from river Howrah in mysterious condition
In tragic incident, a body of young housewife recovered in floating condition from the river water of Howrah in mysterious condition from Baldakhal area under East Agartala police station.
Giving details of the incident, OC of East Agartala police station , Sanjit Sen said that on Monday after some local fishermen noticed a floating body in the river water and they informed the matter to police.
Police immediately rushed to the spot and found a dead body of a young woman, said Sen added that on Sunday night a missing entry had been lodged at Khayerpur police outpost and based on the information; police informed the family of the missing lady.
Later, one Chandan Debnath of Reshambagan area identified the body as his wife, Jayanti Debnath (21), a mother of two years old daughter.
He said that as per primary investigation revealed that the deceased woman was suffering from mental disorder and she had earlier tried to commit suicide due to her nurve related disorder, said Sen and added that they have shifted the body to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy and after getting the reports postmortem, police can clearly say the reason behind her death.
While, the deceased woman’s husband Chandan Debnath said that she was missing from his house since Monday night 8.30 PM and they searched her in all possible locations and had also filed a missing entry.
