Youth will be driving force behind India’s development: CM
CM urges youth to draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda
Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Monday said that in the future, the youth will become the driving force for the development of the country.
He said that every child has talent, and people from all sections of society should come forward to develop this talent. In this regard, a platform like the Shishu Mela is helping to create the right environment.
Dr Saha said this on Monday while inaugurating the blood donation and youth festival organized on the occasion of the 17th annual Shishu Mela of the Naba-Angikar Social and Cultural Organization at Madhyapara in Baradowali, Agartala today.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Saha said that the youth are one of the richest human resources of the country.
“They will become the driving force for the development of the country in the future,” he added.
Highlighting various aspects of the life of Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister said that the youth should be inspired by the thoughts, consciousness, and ideals of Swami Vivekananda and come forward for the development of the country. Therefore, today, the youth should be united and committed to work with a patriotic spirit.
The Chief Minister said on the occasion that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is directly interacting with the youth through the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' program.
“Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the lost glory of the ancient and glorious educational centers of the country is being restored. The target has been set to develop the Indian economy to a $30 trillion economy by 2047. India has now emerged as the fourth-largest economy in the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for building a 'New India.' For this purpose, the state government has also taken the initiative to build a 'New Tripura.' Tripura has been praised in the country for taking reform steps in various fields in the state,” said Dr. Saha.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Corporator Sampa Sarkar Chowdhury, retired police officer B.K. Roy, social worker Shyamal Kumar Deb, former councilor Jayanta Chowdhury, Naba Angikar Samajik O Sangstrikthik Sansthan President Kishore Majumdar, Secretary Debdas Bakshi, and others were present as distinguished guests at the event.
