Afghan police smash drug lab in western Nimroz
Zaranj: Afghan police have discovered and destroyed a drug lab in Dilaram district of Afghanistan's western Nimroz province, Mawlawi Abdul Wasi Omar, the district's head of counter-narcotics police, said Friday.

The illicit drug processing lab was discovered in Dilaram district on Thursday and smashed immediately, the official said, adding that police also arrested a drug smuggler at the site of the operations.
In similar operations, police discovered two drug processing labs in the northern Badakhshan province a couple of days ago and detained two people.
