At least 11 people are said to be in serious condition. The blasts reportedly occurred after Israel reportedly failed to intercept at least two ballistic missiles.

Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical service, said the casualties included a five-year-old girl in critical condition, 11 people with moderate injuries, and several others with minor wounds.

The attack comes amid repeated Iranian strikes targeting Dimona.

Iran: Nuclear facility hit

Meanwhile, the head of the UN-backed nuclear watchdog confirmed early Saturday that Iran’s Natanz Nuclear Facility has been bombed amid ongoing strikes across the country by Israel and the United States, alongside retaliatory attacks by Tehran in the Gulf region.

Rafael Grossi, chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), renewed his appeal for “military restraint to avoid any risk of a nuclear accident.”

“The IAEA has been informed by Iran that the Natanz nuclear site was attacked today,” the agency said in a statement, adding that no increase in off-site radiation levels has been detected.

This marks the fourth reported strike on Iranian nuclear facilities since the start of the US-Israeli offensive.
