Jakarta mosque blast injures 54: Here’s what we know so far
At least 54 people were injured after an explosion occurred inside a mosque located on a naval compound in North Jakarta on Friday, according to media reports.

The blast took place around noon during prayers at the mosque situated within a school complex.
Witnesses told Xinhua news agency the explosion appeared to come from the rear section of the main hall.
Security personnel cordoned off the area shortly after the incident, and the bomb squad carried out a full inspection of the site.
Police said the cause of the blast remains under investigation.
Initial findings indicate the explosion may have resulted from an electrical short circuit or a malfunctioning electronic device, Xinhua reported.
No fatalities were immediately reported.
