Details of the event were kept confidential due to security considerations.
Albanese’s dog, Toto, served as ring bearer. Guests included Haydon’s parents and Albanese’s son from his previous marriage, according to media reports.
Albanese later shared images and video of the ceremony on social media, showing the couple walking down the aisle.
The couple are set to honeymoon in Australia from Monday and Friday next week - plans that were pared back after his re-election in May, reported BBC.
Albanese and Haydon first met during a business dinner in Melbourne in 2020.
Haydon accompanied him during the election campaigns in 2022 and 2025.
