Unknown people gun down three Pakistan's Balgatar
At least three people were killed and another person was injured in a firing incident by unknown people in Pakistan's Balgatar area on Friday.
According to officials, four persons were travelling in a vehicle to Panjgur when unknown armed men ambushed them in tehsil Gwargo’s Balgatar area, opening indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons, reported Dawn News.
“Three persons received multiple bullet injuries and succumbed to their wounds on the spot, while another passenger was injured in the firing,” a senior police officer told Dawn.
The injured person and the bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital in Panjgur.
According to local reports, the deceased were identified as Muhammad Nasir, Muhammad Ishaq and Jumma.
Police suspect the incident was a target killing.
A case has been registered against unknown attackers
An investigation is currently ongoing.
