In swift action, Mumbai Police arrests 2 men who assaulted South Korean YouTuber
Mumbai/IBNS: A South Korean YouTuber was harassed and sexually assaulted in Mumbai’s Khar on Wednesday night while she was live streaming with 1000 people.
The vlogger said two men accosted her on her way back to hotel, pulling her by the waist and dragging her to their motorcycle.
Mumbai Police arrested her perpetrators and called her to inform her that they will send a woman constable to get her statement, she added.
The woman told NDTV that someone watching her live-stream helped her.
Sharing the video from her Twitter account, she related her ordeal: "Last night on stream, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best not to escalate the situation and leave because he was with his friend. And some people said that it was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging the conversation. Makes me think again about streaming."

In the video, a young man can be seen pulling her by her hand even as she says “no, no”, protesting the advance.
He gets closer to her despite her constant denial. The visibly rattled woman tries to walk away, but after a while, the same man appears with his friend on his bike.
Continuing to harass her, they offer her a lift, which she denies and tells them her house is not far from there.
Mumbai Police was quick to take action against the anti-social elements and registered a case of sexual assault on its own based on the video.

Despite the harrowing experience, the YouTuber told NDTV she has nothing against India as she has had similar experiences in other countries where there were no repercussions.
She said she was satisfied and happy with the action taken by the Mumbai Police.
"I will not leave India, I will not let this ruin my trip," she said, adding that she has met many “amazing” people in this country.
