MEA to co-host Usanas Foundation's International Conference on 'India's role in the changing world order'
New Delhi/IBNS: Usanas Foundation, Udaipur-based geopolitics and foreign policy think tank, will organise its second Maharana Pratap Annual Geopolitics Dialogue 2023 (MPAGD 2023) in Udaipur.
The mega event, MPAGD 2023 is co-hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs. Many eminent diplomats, policymakers, and Army generals from around the world including Amb. Anil Trigunayat, Amb. Daniel Carmon from Israel, Stephen R Nagy from Japan, Lt. Gen Ata Hasnain (Former GOC of 15 Corps), Salman Al-Ansari from Saudi Arabia, Lt. Gen. Satish Dua, the mastermind behind the 2016 Surgical Strike, Dalia Zaida, CNN- recognized agent of change in the Middle East, and Dr. Michael Rubin who is a former Pentagon advisor, and amongst many others will be hosted by Usanas Foundation in Udaipur from Mar 23-25, 2023.
The second annual flagship conference, Maharana Pratap Annual Security Dialogue 2023, is hosted by Usanas Foundation, India's only swadeshi think tank with a global outreach.
The theme of this annual dialogue is 'India’s Role in the Changing World Order'.
It will explore various sub-themes such as the security, economic and diplomatic roadmap for India to navigate through the ongoing geopolitical shifts and transformations and reclaim its leadership role in the new world order. Against the backdrop of geopolitical developments and shifts, India’s role in the emerging world order will be a central theme of this conference.
The ongoing transitional phase in the world order presents immense opportunities for India. Its visionary and determined political leadership’s intent and ability to make tough decisions in the interest of national security and economic development are amply evident in the abrogation of article 370, demonetization, CAA/NRC, banning radical Islamist organizations like the Popular Front of India and Jamaat-i-Islami, and conducting Balakot air strikes deep inside the enemy territory.

This event will bring a fresh perspective on India’s vast resource potential, demographic dividend, domestic demand, robust cultural, spiritual, and democratic foundations and how India’s time has already arrived. The dialogue aims to answer why and how the world needs India more than ever when the world is rife with geopolitical tensions with the West facing challenges from rising powers like China.
As a result, the terms of engagement are undergoing major changes. India, by dint of its military might, economic size, and diplomatic heft, is emerging as a powerful geopolitical actor. As seen in the recent Ukraine crisis, New Delhi’s principled, pragmatic, and enlightened stand has the potential to resolve conflicts and guide and navigate the world community toward peace.
Usanas Foundation is also hosting the online part of the Maharana Pratap Annual Geopolitics Dialogue 2023 from the 9th to the 10th of February 2023 for geopolitics enthusiasts around the world to attend.
It is also a humble initiative to pay gratitude to Maharana Pratap, a great diplomat, administrator, statesman, and warrior of Rajasthan who refused to accept Mughal suzerainty. Your support in this conference will help us carry forward the philosophy and legacy of Great Maharana Pratap in India’s national security discourse.
