Uttar Pradesh: One die, 2 injured as container overturns after ramming into a mosque in Kulpahar
Mahoba: One person died and two were injured when a container overturned after ramming into a mosque in Kulpahar area of Mahoba district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, a police officer said here.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Umesh Chandra said the incident took place near Sugira village when the speeding container, loaded with cattle, rammed into a mosque and overturned.
"The cleaner of the container Kisan died on the spot, whereas driver Surendra and one more person Kalicharan were seriously injured," he said.
The DSP said the injured were taken to a community health center by the police with the help of the local residents. "Surendra and Kalicharan have been referred to Jhansi medical college in a serious condition after first aid," he said.
