AR organises ‘A Day with Assam Rifles’ at Lokra
Assam Rifles organised “A Day with Assam Rifles” on Sunday (May 18) at Lokra Garrison, Assam.
A total of 55 local youth participated in the day long programme which aimed to inspire and motivate the younger generation towards a career in the Armed Forces. The event commenced early with routine Physical Training, offering participants a glimpse into the disciplined lifestyle of soldiers. This was followed by a guided tour to various institutions and facilities within the garrison. Motivational classes and interactive sessions were conducted, focusing on leadership, patriotism and service to the nation. A special motivational lecture on joining the Indian Army and Assam Rifles left a lasting impression on the youth. The initiative was well received and served as a powerful tool to bridge the gap between the armed forces and the local community.
