Indian Railways to introduce 3 pairs of new train services connecting Aizawl with Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata

Guwahati: Indian Railways (IR) announce the introduction of three new pairs of train services from Sairang station in Aizawl. These trains will greatly enhance rail connectivity for the state capital of Mizoram with important destinations across the country. The inaugural runs of all three pairs of trains will take place on 13th September, 2025, followed by commencement of regular services on notified dates. The details of the inaugural run and regular train services of all the three pairs of trains are train no. 02507 (Sairang – Anand Vihar Terminal) Inaugural Rajdhani Express will run from Sairang station at 10:00 hrs, on 13-09-2025 (Saturday) to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 7:30 hrs on 15-09-2025 (Monday). Thereafter, w.e.f. 19.09.2025, the regular services of Train No. 20507(Sairang – Anand Vihar Terminal) Rajdhani Express, will depart from Sairang every Friday at 16:30 hrs and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 10:50 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, Train No. 20508 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Sairang) Rajdhani Express will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal every Sunday at 19:50 hrs, w.e.f. 21.09.2025 and will arrive at Sairang at 15:15 hrs on Tuesday. The trains will run via Badarpur Jn., Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Bhagalpur during its journeys.
Train no. 05609 (Bairabi– Sairang) Special will run from Bairabi on 13-09-2025 at 10:00 hrs to reach Sairang at 11:15 hrs. After that, it will start its inaugural run as Train no. 05610 (Sairang-Guwahati) Special at 12:30 hrs, from Sairang to reach Guwahati at 2:30 hrs, next day. Thereafter, w.e.f. 13.09.2025, the regular services of Train No. 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express will depart from Guwahati at 19:00 hrs daily to reach Sairang at 08:30 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express will depart from Sairang at 19:00 hrs daily, w.e.f. 14.09.2025 to reach Guwahati at 08:30 hrs next day.
The inaugural run of express Train no. 03126, will start at 10:00 hrs, on 13-09-2025 to reach Kolkata at 17:00 hrs next day. Thereafter, w.e.f. 16.09.2025, regular services of Train No. 13125 (Kolkata – Sairang) Tri-Weekly Express will start from Kolkata every Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:25 hrs, to arrive Sairang at 19:45 hrs the next day. Similarly, w.e.f. 18.09.2025, Train No. 13126 (Sairang – Kolkata) Tri-Weekly Express will depart from Sairang every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 07:15 hrs, to arrive at Kolkata, at 14:30 hrs the next day. The trains will run via Badarpur Jn., Guwahati, Goalpara Town, Golakganj, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town to reach its destinations.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are also available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
