AR in collaboration with NIEDO, Axis Bank organised online exams for competitive entrances
The Sentinel centre for value based educational excellence, skilling and wellness for the youth of Tripura witnessed a flying start when more than 280 young minds of the state participated in the online entrance exam organised by National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) on November 20.
The shortlisted students would be further competing for 30 vacancies by undergoing online and physical interview sessions that are scheduled on November 23rd, 23. The final 30 selected aspirants would be participating in a full-time residential one-year training programme for competitive entrance examinations of various engineering and medical streams.
The program was conceptualized by Assam Rifles in collaboration with NIEDO and Axis Bank as part of CSR initiative with an aim to secure a better future for the youth of Tripura. The MoU for the same was signed on October 2nd, 2023 between Assam Rifles, Chairman, NIEDO and Advisor Axis Bank in presence of Prof (Dr) Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura and various dignitaries from civil and Assam Rifles.
The Assam Rifles, continuing with its sustained initiative and focus to secure a better future for the youth of Tripura, is providing state of the art infrastructure, accommodation facilities and conductive study environment to the aspirants. This program will not only mentor and guide the youth towards a prosperous future but will also provide soft skills, personality development, critical life competencies, leadership capabilities and end to end grooming so as to nurture valuable human resources of the nation.
