Biplab starts poll campaigns, met Pradyot Kishore at Rajbari
Former Tripura Chief Minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha MP, Biplab Kumar Deb, who has been nominated BJP candidate for West Tripura Lok Sabha seat has started his poll campaigns and attended two organizational meetings at Khayer and Majlishpur Mandals.
Deb attended the first organizational meeting at ‘Gitanjali community hall’ at Ranirbazar under 10-Majlispur assembly constituency on Thursday afternoon and later, in the afternoon participated another organizational meeting of the party workers and leaders at ‘Gitbitan community hall’ in presence of former speaker and local MLA Ratan Chakraborty with other local leaders.
During his meeting at Ranirbazar, Food and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury with local leaders also attended the meeting in presence of a large number of party workers.
Deb in his social media post said that “Activists are the life of Bharatiya Janata Party.Participated in the organizational meeting under Majlishpur Mandal. Our workers are the strength of our party. The stronger the worker at his booth, the bigger the victory of BJP.”
Later, on Thursday evening, Deb visited ‘Rajbari’ for a courtesy meeting and met Tipra-Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarma and a few of his party leaders.
Deb in a Facebook post said that “Had a courtesy meeting with TIPRA Motha founder Maharaja Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma ji and congratulated him on TIPRA Motha joining the Council of Ministers of the Government of Tripura. I have full faith that the inclusion of TIPRA Motha in the Council of Ministers of Tripura Government will accelerate the all-round development and the peace and prosperity of the state under the guidance of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi ji.”
