BSF organized ‘Rozgar mela’ , PM interact with beneficiaries via video conference
The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday organised a ‘Rozgar Mela’ at Frontier headquarters at Salbagan area of Agartala and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Rozgar Mela for the recruitment drive for 71 thousand personnel via Video Conferencing.
During the ceremony, appointment letters were distributed to newly inducted appointees from all across the country to join various ministries/departments of the Government of India at various levels, including Group-A (Gazetted), Group-B, and Group-C, which included CAPF.
The 'Rozgar Mela' was graced by Union Minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhowmik, who was the chief guest of the event, in the presence of Sumit Sharan, IG of Tripura Frontier and other senior officers of CAPF for the distribution of Offer of Appointment to the selected candidates.
During the Rozgar Mela, the Prime Minister interacted with new appointees and guardians via Video Conferencing. The candidates showed great enthusiasm and zeal after the interaction with the Prime Minister of India.
This initiative will be a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s continuous commitment to providing job opportunities for the youth and ensuring the welfare of citizens who have shown an optimistic view of the drive. As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries and Departments are working hard towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts.
These recruitments are being done in mission mode by ministries and departments either by themselves or through recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC and other Recruitment Boards. Selection processes have been simplified and made tech-enabled for expeditious recruitment.
