Budget session of Assembly adjourned sine die

The budget session and fourth session of 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly adjourned for sine die by the speaker after the house passed the budget for 2024-25.
When, on Tuesday evening, Speaker Biswabandhu Sen congratulating all members of the House for peacefully completion of the fourth session of the 13th Assembly with constructive roles of all members, then members from the opposition bench including opposition leader Animesh Debbarma, CPI(M) legislative team leader Jitendra Chaudhury and Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman jointly asked the speaker why not the copies of ‘calling attention’ and ‘reference period’ lay in the house.
They also wanted to know why not the Finance Minister giving his reply over budget discussion, why the Speaker is dissolving the house.
Then, after a brief uproar, the majority of the opposition MLAs bearing a few MLA from Tipra-Motha walked out just a few minutes before adjournment.
