CM prioritizes school infrastructure development for quality education
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha said on Monday that the current state government is dedicatedly working to improve school infrastructure across Tripura, ensuring a commitment to expanding facilities for quality education.
Dr Saha said this during his visit to Unakoti District, where he inaugurated the Panchamnagar H.S School Building, 5 additional classrooms at Dhanvilas, the Kanika Memorial Quarter Complex, Belkhumbari H.S School, and the Computer Laboratory at Baidyanath Majumder Smriti H.S School.
“Our government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is consistently striving to enhance school infrastructure in various parts of Tripura. The present state government is highly committed to expanding school infrastructure for the advancement of quality education. The development of school infrastructure is a tangible demonstration of the double-engine government's efforts towards rural Tripura's development. The government is steadfast in building a bright future for the students,” said Dr Saha.
He emphasized that the state government is giving special priority to educational infrastructure development.
“In this context, particular attention has been given to developing the infrastructure of schools in rural areas. Proper school infrastructure is crucial for students to study effectively. Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserts that those with knowledge will shape India and the world. The state government is working in this direction to ensure a better future for the students,” he added.
Dr Saha also highlighted the "Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura" initiative, emphasizing ongoing developmental projects for sports and various other essential projects.
He underscored the importance of addressing any teacher shortages in schools, ensuring that appointed teachers are experienced and trained to provide students with proper knowledge.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, along with senior officials from the district administration and education department, accompanied the Chief Minister during these programs.
