CM to launch Prati Ghare Sushasan-2 campaign, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
Tripura along with entire nation will kick off 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and “Prati Ghare Sushasan-2” (good governance in every house) on the 148th birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Bhagaban Birsa Munda. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the nationwide 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra', a Rs 24,000-crore scheme for the holistic development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and release the 15th installment of the Rs 18,000 crore PM-KISAN scheme from Jharkhand.
Giving details after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Food and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury addressing a press conference from Civil secretariat on Tuesday evening along with secretary of ICA department, Dr PK Chakraborty said that at a time when PM Nrendra Modi will launch the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' on ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ a nationwide initiative aimed at ensuring the widespread implementation of the government's flagship schemes in 2.7 lakh panchayats by January 25, 2024, the state government will also launch the scheme during a programme from Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Wednesday morning.
He said that Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will launch the Prati Ghare Sushasan-2” (good governance in every house), flag off ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and three days long ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ will be held at Vivekananda stadium on the same day, where government departments will set up stalls, self-help-groups (SHGs) to open their counter to sale their products and many other programme including panel discussions.
During the Yatra, PM Modi will kick off a Rs 24,000-crore scheme for the holistic development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and release the 15th installment of the Rs 18,000 crore PM-KISAN scheme from Khunti village of Jharkhand. As part of this two-month-long campaign, Modi will flag off Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans to cover a vast area, ensuring the timely delivery of scheme benefits to targeted sections of the population. The outreach will extend to both rural and urban areas, with a focus on informing people about the accomplishments of flagship programs.
The campaign, commencing on November 15 and concluding on January 25, will cover 2.7 lakh gram panchayats and approximately 15,000 urban locations. The IEC vans, equipped for direct interaction with the public, will disseminate information about various schemes, such as housing, drinking water, and financial inclusion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the PM-PVTG Development Mission — a scheme meant for the overall development of around 28 lakh people from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups — in a special programme to mark the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda on November 15, which has been celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas for three years now.
He said that Chief Minister along all cabinet ministers, Chief Secretary, DGP and other officials will also be present during the launching of “Prati Ghare Sushasan-2” campaign.
With an aim to provide government’s scheme facilities to the last man in row, Prati Ghare Sushasan-2” will launch and ministers and top officials of the state administration will monitor the second phase of the scheme and will have to ensure, the rural people of the state get the all scheme facilities of central and state governments, said Chowdhury. In the first phase of Prati Ghare Sushasan” campaign above 23 lakh beneficiaries get the facilities of government scheme and those are left out in the first phase, all such people of the state will be covered in the second phase, Chowdhury said.
Speaking in the press meet, secretary of ICA department, Dr PK Chakraborty said that eight cabinet ministers has given the responsibilities of eight districts to monitor, review the progress of the schemes with reporting system. He said that Minister Ratan Lal Nath given the responsibilities of West Tripura district, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy to look after the South district, Minister Sudhungshu Das to monitor Dhalai district, Minister Santana Chakma to North Tripura district, Minister Sukla Charan Noatia to Gomati district, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury to look after the Sepahijala district, Minister Tinku Roy to monitor Unakoti district and Minister Bikash Debbarma to look after scheme implementation of Khowai district. He said that eight senior officers have also assign the task to ensure to reach the scheme benefits to all people of the state.
He said that during “Prati Ghare Sushasan-2” campaign, administrative camps will be organizes in villages along with blocks and districts, where people will get instance benefit of government schemes.
