Congress gearing up for Raj Bhavan Abhijan in November
Tripura Pradesh Congress on its ongoing organizational movements in different parts of the state has organized a meeting with the leaders of South Tripura district on Friday.
Sources in the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) said that PCC president Ashish Kumar Saha along with local leaders visited the house of Sabroom block Congress president Monoranjan Datta, whose son Sujit Dtta during Durga Puja days passed away untimely and condolence to the bereaved family members, Saha with his team left for Santirbazar.
The Congress team led by PCC president attended an organizational meeting at the house of former minister Manindra Reang and held detailed discussion over their organizational matters.
Later, speaking with media persons, Ashish Kumar Saha said that the state unit of the party is gearing up to organize Raj Bhavan Abhijan on November next in support of a number of demands and against misrule of the present state government.
Saha said that PCC is hoping that in the last part of December or in the first part of January, Rahul Gandhi will visit the state for two day and will kick-off the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Tripura.
