Chaired a review meeting at the conference hall of West Tripura district on Thursday in presence of the authorities of all civic and rural bodies along with government officials, Nath seeking cooperation of state’s people said that the two-and-a-half-month long campaign has been initiated to ensure the benefits of all state and central government schemes for the people. He said that all the elected representatives and government officials should have to ensure that the benefits should reach all houses of the state’s people.
Nath, stressing on organizing camps in every local body for the “Prati Ghore Susashan” campaign, said that no people should be left out by getting the benefits of government’s schemes.
During the review meeting, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder said that in order to reach the benefits of "Prati Ghore Susashan", the AMC on October 17, 18 and 19 last organized camps in all 51 wards of the corporation, where a total of 2,686 persons were given benefits of government schemes.
After a presentation of data in the review meeting, the District Magistrate (DM) of West Tripura Debapriya Bardhan said that as per the information available from 9 blocks of the district, altogether 14, 328 persons from Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats and ADC Village Committees get the benefits of government schemes. Through the different schemes of the different departments, a total of 18, 755 families of West Tripura district so far get the benefits.
In the review meeting, the representatives of different line departments have also highlighted their department wise success and number of benefits given by them to the district’s people.
It may be recalled here that Tripura government has launched state level special campaign "Prati Ghore Susashan"(good governance at every household) to ensure benefits of various state and central schemes for the people of the state during the celebration of 72th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17 last and as “Sewa Divas” encouraging people to take a pledge to offer their services towards fighting social evils, promoting Swachh Bharat Abhijan, holding blood donation camps etc. The 'Proti Ghore Shushashon' campaign has been launched to take the benefits of the flagship schemes of the Centre and the state government to the doorsteps of the people, from the district to the gram panchayat level and the campaign will continue up to November 30 next.
