E-services for cashless transactions in Transport department launched
Transport department has launched an e-service for cashless transactions on 2nd June 2023. In the first phase, the service was launched at the District Transport Office of West Tripura district. This service will be introduced in all districts of the state in a phased manner.
Commissioner of Transport department, Subrata Chowdhury launched the e-service at Agartala Transport Commissioner’s Office on Friday. He said, as a result of the introduction of this system, people will be able to transact through online payment systems such as e-pos, debit card, credit card, UPI, QR code payment, Google Pay.
Transport department's driving license, vehicle registration, traffic challan and tax payment services can now be done through this online system. This will result in greater transparency and efficiency in the work. In addition, common people can take various benefits hassle-free. The Transport department has urged everyone to take advantage of this service.
