Final polling percentage released by ECI for West Tripura decreased at 81.48%, Ramnagar 71.19 pc
The final turnout of vote for the West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency (PC) has been released by the Election Commission of India (ECI), which decreased at 81.48% from 81.52 percent, released by the poll panel on the night elections on April 19.
The final turnout released by the ECI on Saturday night shows that the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat comprises thirty assembly segments and as per the final figures released , the polling percentage in West Tripura LS seat is 81.48, which is less than the overall polling recorded in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019. In the 2019 Loksabha polls an overall turn-out of 82.40% was recorded in the West Tripura (general) seat and had recorded a slightly higher percentage of votes than the East Tripura (ST) seat.
As per the polling percentage assembly seat wise, released by the ECI shows that 18-Suryamaninagar assembly segment had witnessed the highest voter turnout, recording the highest polling percentage of 86.77%, followed by 21-Nalchar at 86.32 percent and 35-Belonia assembly constituency recorded 86.27 % turnout on April 19 poll.
However , in the six ST reserve assembly segments under the West Tripura LS seat the polling percentage was still less-ranging between 74.99 % and 75.87% in Takarjala and Mandaibazar to a high of 82.45% in Santirbazar assembly seat.
Similarly, the polling percentage for the by-poll of 7-Ramnagar assembly was declared by the poll panel at 71.21 % on April 19 night, but the latest figure released by ECI shows that it has also slightly decreased at 71.19 percent.
