Five passengers injured after collision of two cars

In a road mishap, altogether five persons suffered critical injuries, when a passenger car collided face on with Cows loaded pick up van at Bishramganj area of National Highway on Friday afternoon.
Police sources said that a passenger Maruti Eco car was proceeding towards Belonia from Agartala and a cows loaded Balero pick up van coming from the opposite direction. When both cars reached near the SP office of Sepahijala district at the national highway collided face on in heavy speed. As a result, five passengers boarded in the Maruti Eco car along with driver Laxman Paul suffered critical injuries.
After hearing the heavy sound of the crash, local people rushed to the spot and informed police and firefighters. Later, firefighters shifted all injured persons to Bishramganj hospital and among the injured persons; three were shifted to GB Hospital due to their critical injuries.
