Friend killed another friend after boozing party at Madhupur
Body of youth was recovered on Saturday morning from Kamalasagar tea garden area under Madhupur police station of Sepahijala district, who was murdered by his friend on Thursday night after a boozing party.
Police sources said that on Thursday night, two friends Janesh Munda (27) and Bhakta Munda went to a marriage house in Devipur area under the same police station for work.
After completion of their work, both friends joined together in a lonely area near Devipur farm at midnight for a boozing party. While, during the party both of them engaged in hot altercation disputing a family issue and after a brief scuffle, Bhakta Munda attacked Janesh with a brick and smashed his back side of head.
After, accused Bhakta Munda realized his friend had already died, then he dumped the body in a deep jungle and went to his house located at Kamalasagar tea garden area.
When Janesh Munda did not return to his house at work in a marriage house, the family members and some local villagers detained Bhakta Munda to know about missing Janesh, then suspicious villagers informed the matter to Madhupur police.
Police rushed to the spot and brought Bhakta Munda to their custody and after continuous interrogation, Bhakta revealed the incident before police and narrated how he killed his friend and dumped his body.
On Saturday, a jumbo team of police along with a magistrate, dog squad and forensic team reached at the jungles of Kamalasagar tea garden and with the landmark shown by the accused , they recovered the body of victim Janesh and shifted it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police added that based on the complaint of Janesh Munda’s family, they registered a specific FIR under section 302 of IPC and will produce the accused man before a local court on Sunday for further legal proceedings.
