Governor visits MG Bazar, enquires business process
Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Wednesday accompanied by Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), officials and leaders of market committees visited Maharaj Ganj Bazar and reviewed the trading and selling processes among customers and traders.
Soon after his arrival at the market, AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, local councilor and additional commissioner of AMC, Mohammad Sajjad P welcomed the Governor. Nallu has interacted with the Central Bazar Committee and different vendor associations of MG Bazar and has also reviewed the infrastructures and process of businesses in wholesale and retail markets.
Later, the Governor with the Mayor, officials and leaders of different market committees visited vegetable, fruits, fish, dry fish and mutton and chicken markets and enquired about the prices and quality of products including farmer products.
The president of MG Bazar Central Committee Swapan Kumar Paul highlighted market details before the Governor.
Later, speaking with media persons, the Governor expressed his satisfaction over the infrastructures and business process in the state’s biggest market.
