Govt prioritizes citizen services with focus on infrastructure development: CM
Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Saturday said that infrastructure development for the delivery of citizen services is one of the top priorities of the present state government.
Dr Saha said this while inaugurating a new building of Ambassa Municipal Council in Dhalai District today.
“Infrastructure development for the delivery of citizen services is one of the top priorities of the present State Government. In this direction, the new building of Ambassa Municipal Council is a reflection of our committed efforts. This will help enhance the pace of Government works in the area,” said Dr Saha.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always gives guarantees, and the guarantee vehicle first came to Dhalai District.
“Dhalai is an aspirational district. We allocate 10 to 15 percent extra from the budget for the development of Dhalai district, and following this direction, we are working. The Municipal Council here is working very well. In the last two years, the municipal council has taken some significant steps for development,” said Dr Saha.
Dr Saha emphasized that the state government is following PM Modi’s steps, working in a transparent way.
“Due to transparency, people have faith and belief in us. Earlier, we have seen how they used to speak, but in reality, they did nothing. But our government is working to earn the people’s trust. Our government is a government that solves problems. Our government is only working for the benefits of people. If law and order is not good, then development will not take place. GDP has also increased, and per capita income is Rs 1.40 lakh. Slowly, everything is increasing in our state,” he added.
During the program Dhalai District Magistrate Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, District Superintendent of Police Avinash Rai and others were present.
