Govt released offer letters for 1482 graduate teachers
The state government on Friday released the offer of appointment for 1482 graduate teachers under, who are qualified under Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2.
Addressing a press conference here at Civil Secretariat on Friday evening, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that from November 15 next the Master Degree courses in MA (English and Bengali) will commence in six-degree colleges of the state including in MBB College, Women’s College, Belonia College, Netaji Subhash memorial college in Udaipur, Ramkrishna college in Kailasahar and in Dharmanagar degree college.
The MBB College have seat capacity of 30 student each in English and Bengali, 15 Bengali and 20 in English at Women’s college, Belonia college have 20 each in English and Bengali, Udaipur college 10 each in both subjects, in Kailasahar college 10 in Bengali and 9 in English and Dharmanagar government degree college have seat capacity of 11 for Bengali and 9 for MA (English) course.
Nath said that before the BJP-IPFT government came into power had assured the state’s people that the new government will provide government jobs to one family member, who had lost their nearest one due to political violence and till date the government has received 26 applications. The government has also formed a scrutiny committee to give the jobs, said Nath and added that so far 8 persons were given jobs and names of seven candidates were sent for review and names of seven persons were sent to different departments after recommendation by the review committee.
Nath also announced the names of 25 new ‘Vidyajyoti’ scheme schools in addition to 100 existing Vidyajyoti schools and these schools will be converted into Vidyajyoti schools in 2023-24 academic years.
