Left parties observed November Revolution, D Raja lambasts BJP
Opposition CPI(M) along with other Left parties on Monday observed the 106th anniversary of ‘Great November Revolution’ by hoisting party flags , paying tributes to martyr columns and through rallies and street meetings.
On Monday morning, CPI(M) polit Bureau member Hannan Molla hoisted the party flag at CPI(M) state’s headquarters in Agartala along with other state leaders. All the units of CPI(M) have also observed the day in their locality.
The Left Front alliance partner CPI also observed the day in Agartala, where D. Raja, general secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) participated in a rally at Agartala.
While, speaking with media persons D Raja highlighting the significance of the day said there was socialist revolution led by Lenin in Russia to fight against all kinds of exploitation, which inspired the movement across Indian and oppression politics of ruling BJP.
Criticizing the rule of Narendra Modi led BJP government Raja alleged that due to corporate appeasement policies of the central government, the economic structure of the country has collapsed and poor people are becoming poorer day by day.
He also alleged that BJP has created an environment of communal polarization and to defeat the BJP in coming days, the Left movements in Tripura will play an important role. He also appealed to all democratic and secular political parties to come into one platform to strengthen the fight against the BJP government. Raja added that to defeat the state’s BJP government CPI are actively working in its political arena and will also strengthen its movement against the BJP government.
