New Tripura Bhavan, land allotted at Dwarka in Delhi
The Delhi Development Authority Institutional Land Branch has allotted 2,930 square meters of land for construction of new Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi.
Delhi Development Authority's Institutional Land Branch has allocated a substantial plot of land in Sector 17, Dwarka, Plot No. 3, for the construction of a new Tripura Bhavan.
This was stated by the Deputy Director (IL) of Delhi Development Authority Institutional Land Branch in a letter to the Special Chief Residence Commissioner, Tripura Bhavan, New Delhi on October 4, 2023. It may be noted that on September 15, 2023 in New Delhi, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha spoke to Delhi Lt. Governor V.K Saxena to allocate the land required for the construction of a new Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi.
The allocation of this land is expected to pave the way for the establishment of a prominent Tripura Bhavan in the heart of New Delhi, facilitate short accommodation for students, patient parties, citizens and officials of the state government during their stay at New Delhi.
Chief Minister DR Manik Saha in a 'X’ (tweet) message said that “A New Tripura Bhawan in Capital soon…! Land for One among the Two newly proposed Tripura Bhawan in #Delhi got allotted. This is aimed to support the patients & students of #Tripura. I thank Hon’ble @LtGovDelhi Shri V.K. Saxena Ji for his kind support & fulfilling the promise made by him during my visit to Delhi last month.”
