PM Modi's initiatives bring positive change to lives in Tripura: CM

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday said that the benefits of various schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have changed the lives of many at every corner of the country including Tripura.

Dr Saha said this while attending an interaction programme at Santirbazar Community Hall of Surma, Dhalai district on Saturday.

“The benefits of various schemes launched by PM Narendra Modi have changed the lives of many at every corner of the country including Tripura. Be it PMAY, Ujjwala Yojana or any other schemes, the benefits have reached the last mile in a transparent manner. The people are very happy and it was evident in the reactions of the eminent people during my interaction programme”, he said.

Dr Saha also highlighted Tripura's emerging role as the gateway to Southeast Asia.

"Railway officials inspecting the Agartala-Akhaura rail link have said that the line would be extended to the Chittagong port. They mentioned ongoing work on doubling the railway line and electrification. We've increased social allowances and are actively pursuing development in every sector," he mentioned.

He emphasized the people's trust in the BJP, which has enabled the party to form the government again.

"We are committed to 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.' Our focus includes education and healthcare development. We have also advocated for an AIIMS-like hospital. Our government aims to transform the state into an education and medical hub. We are dedicated to comprehensive development, as PM Modi embodies progress. Additionally, we are considering the construction of national highways in the state," he added.
