Pratima Bhoumik presents appointment letters to newly recruits in Central forces, 447 youths receive appointment letters
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik has urged the newly appointed youths to serve the country and the state with honesty, sincerity and dedication. The Union Minister said that India will become the most prosperous and developed country in the world by 2047 and expressed hope that the new recruits, who will be in service for the next 25 years, would play a big role and contribute in making the country developed during their 25 years of service.
Union Minister Smt. Bhoumik was addressing the state-level program as part of the 8th Rozgar Mela held at 45 locations across the country today. She said that today a total of 447 youth from the state barring a district due to the election model code of conduct being in force, have been provided appointment letters, along with distribution of appointment letters to over 51000 new recruits in the central paramilitary forces across the country.
She said at one time the recruitment process used to take 18 to 20 months. Presently, under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi it has been possible to put an end to the long-ranging recruitment process and complete it within six months of the process starting and the government is working in that direction.
Smt Bhoumik said that if the benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi are provided online at the same time by pressing a button, it could be possible in the aspect of distribution of appointment letters too.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the central program of 8th Rozgar Mela in New Delhi by pressing the electronic button. The program was held simultaneously at 45 locations across the country including Tripura. In state-based events, the entire centrally organized program was telecasted live.
In the state, the Rozgar Mela was held at the Tripura Frontier headquarters of BSF at Shalbagan in Agartala. Following the completion of the recruitment process that continued for the last few months for recruitment in various central paramilitary forces, appointment letters were handed over to the selected youths from the state in today's program. Apart from BSF, the newly recruits would be appointed in various positions under CRPF, CISF, SSB etc.
