Pre-election rejig: 134 civil, police officers transferred

Amidst spree of transfer from Civil and Police administration as part of the pre-election rejig, altogether 14 senior TCS, IAS officers, nine TPS officers and 111 in-charge Sub-Inspectors (SI) of police were transferred in different notifications.

Amidst spree of transfer from Civil and Police administration as part of the pre-election rejig, altogether 14 senior TCS, IAS officers, nine TPS officers and 111 in-charge Sub-Inspectors (SI) of police were transferred in different notifications.

The General Administration (personnel and Training) department of state government through a notification has transferred 14 TCS super-selection grade officers including an IAS officer. Among the prominent transferred officers Ashim Saha, incumbent ADM of West Tripura was transferred as new ADM for South Tripura district, Moslem Uddin Ahmed, ADM of Dhalai district as new director of Fisheries and Devananda Reang incumbent director of Panchayat and Fisheries departments has been relieved from the charges of director of Fisheries.

The present director of Tourism Tarit Kanti Chakma (IAS) will hold the additional charge as ADM for West Tripura district.

In another notification, the General Administration has transferred 9 TPS grade- I and II officers including Sabyasachi Debnath from Crime Branch to SDPO(Mohanpur), Kamal Krishna Kalai from SDPO(MOhanpur) to Dy.SP(West), incumbent additional SP(West) Anirban Das as additional SP of Khowai district replacing Rajdeep Deb, who will hold the new charges as additional SP(West). Among transferred police officers SDPO (Sonamura) charge has been given to Samir Roy and SDPO (Kamalpur) given to Banuj Biplab Das etc.

In the third transfer order issued by police headquarters has transferred altogether 111 in-charge Sub-Inspectors (SIs) from district to district, who were recently promoted to police SI from Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
