Road mishap at Agartala’s lone flyover, three injured
After a gap of a few months, again on Thursday evening the Agartala’s lone flyover witnessed another tragic road mishap and three persons of the same family suffered injuries.
Police sources said that Amar Krishna Dey (52)of Barpathari area of Belonia after consultation of a doctor, he along with his wife Ripa Sarkar Dey (48) boarded in a e-rickshaw (Tomtom) to drop their son Arghajit Dey (14) at his private tuition centre.
When the Tomtom reached the circle area of the flyover at Battala area in speedy condition, the driver to the Tomtom lost his control and crashed into the boundary wall of the flyover.
As a result, Amar Krishna Dey along with his wife and son suffered injuries and immediately firefighters from Agartala station rushed to the spot and shifted all of them to GB Hospital.
Hospital sources said that Amar Krishna Dey has been admitted to the hospital and his wife and son were released from the hospital after primary treatment.
