Rozgar Mela at BSF campus, many youth get job offers
The Border Security Force (BSF) organized a 'RozgarMela' on Monday at the frontier headquarters of BSF Tripura, Salbagan area of Agartala. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rozgar Mela for 45 youths including 13 for BSF through Video Conference.
During the ceremony, appointment letters were distributed to the appointees from all across the country to join various ministries, departments of the government of India at various levels, including CAPF. 42 candidates from Tripura, were given appointment letter for joining BSF, Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB), EPFO and India Post.
The 'Rozgar Mela' was graced by Pratima Bhaumik, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment as the chief guest of the event. Rajesh Kumar, DIG(PSO), Officiating IG BSF Frontier HQ Tripura, Satyendra Singh, chairman, Tripura Gramin Bank and Rajarshi Chakma, Regional P.F. Commissioner Employees Provident fund organisation (EPFO) and other senior officers were also present during the distribution of offer of appointment to the selected candidates.
During the Rozgar Mela Prime Minister addressed new appointees and guardians via Video Conferencing- The candidates showed great enthusiasm and zeal after the interaction with the Prime Minister of India.
Today's initiative will be a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's continuous commitment to providing job opportunities for the youth and ensuring the welfare of citizens. As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries and Departments are working hard towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts.
These recruitments are being done in a mission mode by ministries and departments either by themselves or through recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC and other Recruitment Boards. Selection processes have been simplified and made tech-enabled for expeditious recruitment.
