Selling Brown Sugar, youth caught red-handed from Teliamura
One drug paddler involved with selling and trade network of Brown Sugar was caught red handed by CRPF and police on Sunday from Chakmaghat area under Teliamura police station.
Police sources said that they had received information that a boy was selling vials of Brown Sugar to some persons in the market area of Chakmaghat. Based on the information, a joint team of police and CRPF raided the market area and managed to detain one Bijoy Debbarma (19), resident of Ganganagar area of Dhalai district.
Police also recovered a total of 91 vials filled with Brown Sugar under his possession and arrested him.
Police said that they have registered a specific case under NDPS Act and started investigation to unearth the drug network spread in Teliamura.
