Three new govt degree colleges set up in last 3 years, CM
In the first day of winter session of Tripura assembly, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, who is holding the Higher Education department said that from the year 2021 to August 31st, 2023 state government has set up three new government degree colleges.
Giving reply to a written query of opposition leader Animesh Debbarma, Chief Minister these three new government degree colleges were set at Panisagar, Old Agartala and in Agartala, which is known as Sri Arabinda General Degree College (English medium).
Apart from three government degree colleges, a law college at Jirania has been set up under private-public partnership (PPP) model and another private college namely; Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathiyababa Mission College is functioning at West Bhubanban area of Agartala.
