Two suspected spy detain from Indo-Bangla border area
Two suspected spy of Pakistan intelligence agency ISI have been detained from bordering Ashwani market area under Amtali police station on Wednesday, when they were moving in that area suspiciously.
Police sources said that based on the secret information over suspicious movements of two unknown persons at the bordering Ashwani market area, police rushed to the spot and detained two suspected persons.
During interrogation, two suspected persons revealed their identity as Yakub Yayazdanbox of Iran and Shahin Mandal of Bangladesh. Both these foreign nationals were moving in that area without any valid documents and police recovered one mobile phone and some fake PAN and AAdhar cards under their possession.
Sources said that during verification, police have also found many photographs of Pakistan based militant groups in their mobile.
Sources said that a team of senior police officials led by SDPO ( Amtali) Ashish Das Gupta are interrogating two foreign nationals and how and why they entered Indian territory without any valid documents.
Sources also said that after detailed interrogation, police can ascertain the reason for their suspicious movements in the bordering area. Police added that both of them will be produced before a local court for further legal proceedings.
