Vice President Dhankhar arrived today
Agartala: The Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in his maiden visit will visit Tripura on Tuesday after he took the charge of Vice President of India.
As per his visit schedules received from the state government said that on Tuesday morning at about 10.20 AM, the Vice President will arrive at Agartala airport through a special aircraft by Indian Air Force (IAF), where after reception by state government in presence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and other top officials including his cabinet colleagues.
After the reception ceremony, the Vice President will leave towards Udaipur through IAF special helicopter and will land at the helipad located at Udaipur Girls School. After a brief reception, the Vice President with his wife Dr (Smt) Sudesh Dhankhar will visit the Mata Tripureswari temple and will offer prayer.
After the ‘Darshan’ at Mata Tripura Sundari temple, Dhankhar will at the helipad of Assam Rifles ground in Agartala and will arrive at MBB College campus for inauguration of ‘Historical and Cultural heritage of Tripura’ at the Rabindra Hall of MBB College.
During the programme at MBB College, Chief Minister and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath along with other officials will also be present there and after the programme, the Vice President will arrive at Raj Bhavan. After lunch, the Dhankhar will be accorded farewell before leaving towards Agartala airport at about 3.05 PM, where he will leave towards Kolkata airport by the special IAF flight.
